Detox Symptoms – Signs Your Body is Detoxing

If you are doing a juice or smoothie fast or changing out your diet to vegetarian or vegan, MOST of you will experience detox symptoms.  When you start putting all the good, whole foods into your body, your body is then able to start releasing old toxins, fats and junk it’s been holding on to.  When it starts releasing of if this accumulated crud, you end up feeling a lot of different symptoms.  THIS IS NORMAL since the toxins need to be released and passed through your body again to be eliminated.  STAY STRONG through this people!  Symptoms can last a few days and upwards of 2-3 weeks depending on your toxicity level.

Common Detox Symptoms:

  • Smelly gas
  • Bloating
  • Pooping a lot or a little (drink lots of water too!)
