All Natural Lemon Disinfectant Spray Cleaner
Learn how to make a natural cleaner for your house without harsh chemicals!
Among it’s many uses, LEMON, is great household cleanser. It’s natural disinfectant and antibacterial qualities – oh and of course the refreshing smell – make it a easy choice for cleaning your home. This particular spray works great in kitchens and bathrooms. The recipe below is simple to make:
- empty spray bottle (BPA free if possible)
- 1st fill – 1 part hot water to 1 part white vinegar (basically half and half)
- 10-15 drops of lemon essential oil
- Blank label – to label your creation
BONUS BACTERIA KILLER BOOST: Add 10 – 15 drops melaleuca oil.
Shake all of your ingredients together in your bottle and go to town on that dirt and grime! You can let this sit on greasy spots and let the vinegar and lemon oil work it’s magic. If you are faced with a really grimy spot. You can take a lemon, cut it in half and shake a little baking soda and salt on it then then use the cut half on your tough spots are greasy pans. I once made my sister-in-laws pan BLACK and nothing was working to get it off until I tried this. With a little elbow grease it ALL came off. No joke.
This mixture can also clean and shine brass and copper.
**Do take note, that lemon is known to be a natural bleach, so if you are worried about a surface test a spot.
